Supporting disabled people into work can be inspiring and exhausting
Working in Supported Employment and Work Programmes is one of the most rewarding jobs. But working with clients who have complex issues, and with reluctant employers, while balancing your budget and bidding for next year’s funds can also be a frustrating experience.
Preparing and training clients, dealing with bureaucracy, working with many organisations are part of the everyday experience. The different legal systems and programmes of Europe seem to make little difference for clients - we can all do more and do better.
